New 'Black Owned Angie's List' to be Launched

October 2, 2017

Many black people do want to support one another. Often times before we shop, we may ask ourselves, what is black owned? Or while we are shopping we may ponder the following: Why is there a lack of my representation in this store? Why is there not a wide selection for me to choose from? Are these products even for me? How come only a few people who look like me work here? Do you ever find yourself asking these questions? Are you ready for a change?

Black owned directories can answer the many questions you have, like the one stated above. With the help of this new black directory website, we are headed toward the big change we want to see in the sphere of black economics. Similar to other black directory websites,The black excellence directory business website is designed to list African American businesses online! According to their soon to be active website blackexcellencedirectory.com, this website is made for everyone from attorneys, realtors, banks, to fashion boutiques, grocery stores, mechanics, beauty supplies stores and other black owned businesses you can name. BUT that's not the best part!

In addition to this website listing black owned businesses to support,  these black owned businesses will get to USE the website to market their business. This means they have access to customer reviews, product features, product samples, and product information. As blacknews.com stated, this directory is soon to be the next Angie's list.

Why black businesses directories are a win for black people who support them:

Unfortunately black owned business sales are very low in comparison to other racial groups. Reported by the Small Biz trends website, the gap in average sales has only increased over the years and we still are not where we could be in regards to group economics. As I stated before, we as black consumers have a hard time finding the right businesses that support us!

We need to be proactive in representing ourselves. We need to pay attention to the things that we hold the majority spot of consuming but do not have a majority economic gain in. For example: we are the largest consumers of hair products, but own few businesses in the hair product arena. How great would it be if you knew exactly where to get or sell your hair products as a black woman/person? How great would it be if you knew exactly where to find the right makeup for your skin as a black woman/person? This website will get black owned businesses connected to consumers locally and world wide! The consumers win. The entrepreneurs win. Everybody wins!

If you are a black entrepreneur or a black consumer, this is definitely worth an investment of your time. This is something that you want to be a part of and support. Let's get a move on rebuilding our community! For more information and everything about the website you can visit blackexcellencedirectory.com
